I suppose if you have a cold take some tablet your doctor says is ok, drink too much coffee have your drink spiked you can say its unfair. But someone sticking a pint of blood in you is a bit hard to miss.
If the test is wrong then the only benifit is it may deter others. Do we realy want lawers to run the sport and encorage cheating. Perhaps we need fines to make sure the labs do a top job as once tainted your reputation is gone.
Learn from past mistakes and make enough samples so that mistakes can be proved indepenently not in the courts or in the media.
Prove in your comeback that you are the rider you say you are, after all it is a sport.
