I think that if Rujano places in the top 3 of the TT he could win the Giro.

Rujano lost 4' 20" to Savoldelli, 2' 04" to Simoni, and 3' 29" to di Luca in the first time trial.

Yes - you are right - but the next time trial features a much harder climb than the first TT did. So this may change results.

What do you guys think of Zabriskie's chances? Will he take his 2nd win in the Giro?

Zabriskie has a great opportunity to get his second Giro win... if Basso doesn' take it.

Savoldelli's teammates of the Discovery Channel Pro Team have had a shameful performance today. None of them was there to help Paolo to control his rivals' attacks, and they had been left behind many kilometres before il Passo delle Finestre, leaving him alone and gambling his Giro win. This shows the level of motivation Discovery Channel riders have when Armstrong is not with them and shows how much they despise any race other than Le Tour.

Basso will win the Giro but it will affect his performance at the tour.
