Hello.. i am a 40 yr old who loves to bike. i have started back to biking after over 20 yrs not on the bike. i am overweight and need to lose as much weight as possible. i am just going out and riding right now. however i would like a program to follow if possible that would start me slow but would still help the pounds come off. If anyone has a plan or could help me come up with one that would be great. that brings me to the second part the diet. I know weight loss comes from dieting however i dont want to hurt myself with this cycling ( because i am very serious about it) by starving my body with some fad type diet. what should i eat? and what is a good program for that? I would like to eventually try some small road races so i need to get myself into that kind of shape. all help appreciated..ty
