Hi,
I am a very amateur rider and a very young rider. I used to ride 20 or so miles a day on a very flat circuit, because where I live is not the best place for Road Cycling. I am also struggling to keep up with school. I really don't do any other athletic activities so biking really is the only thing that keeps me in shape. I was doing really well throught the summer and fall, but then as winter came on I started not riding as long and finally gave up riding alltogether. I don't really have the proper gear to ride in winter weather, but I still want to do it anyway. I've been trying to find a indoor circuit somewhere around here. Do you guys know if that would work as well. I could still sprint but I don't think it would really build that much muscle. I don't know. I just need a find a way to get myself out there, even in that terribly cold weather.

Just put your cycling gear on and put your bike in an obvious position in the house and that should make you get on it. Wink Also having cycling goals is always a good source of motivation to get out and ride, but if you don't have proper winter riding gear in very cold weather there is no way your going to be able to go out and ride on a consistent basis. But to get more and better qualified reply's you should try posting this on bike radar. Smiler
